Year 5/6

Road Safety

This morning, Year 5/6 and 6 had a visit from the police to talk to them about road safety. As electric scooters and bikes are becoming an issue in our local area, they came to educated us all on where they can be used and the impact they can have on their driving licence. It was very informative and useful to find out how the children can stay safe.

World Book Day

As part of our World Book Day celebration, Year 5/6 paired up with Year 2 to share a story together.

Daily Mile With Special Guests

Yesterday, Year 5/6 were joined by their grown ups and other family members as part of our Lenten mission to 'Walk in the Light'. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Knife Crime

This afternoon UKS2 had a visit from a local police officer who spoke to them about knife crime. During the workshop the children found out about the impact knife crime has, who it involves and the consequences of what can happen if you are found carrying a knife.

Digital Art Final Pieces

Using the inspiration of Yung Jake's digital art, Year 5/6 used the software 'Emoji Art' to create their own emoji art final pieces.

Some fantastic work Year 5/6!

Design & Technology Projects

Year 5/6 designed and created their own waistcoats this term. They analysed the requirements of the product request carefully and used this to inform their design. Following this, they utilised a range of resources, sewing techniques and materials to create their products.

Well done Year 5/6!
