The children have been learning all about 2D shapes. They started by looking at and exploring each shape- printing with them, making pictures, guessing the hidden shape and sorting shapes. They then moved on to finding shapes in the environment and describing the properties of the shapes. After that we moved on to creating patterns with shapes, where the children copied, continued then created their own shape patterns.
