A Busy Week in Nursery - Jun 24, 2021
This week we played on the new balance bikes. We loved riding on them. We could only ride on them if we put our safety first and wore a helmet. We love them!!
We have also looked closely at plants. We knew that they needed water, soil and sunlight to grow. We found out that their roots are really important and allow the food to move up the stem to feed the rest of the plant. We carried out an investigation to see how water travels up the stem to the rest of the flower. We placed a white flower in some blue food colouring and left it over night to see what would happen. Wow! The petals had started to change blue.
We have also enjoyed playing with all of our friends.
