The Poppy Lady - Nov 12, 2021
Year 3/4 have been answering the enquiry question ‘Where did the remembrance poppy come from?’ They found out about Moina Belle Michaels and enjoyed learning about Moina’s idea to create a Memorial Poppy to remember those who died during WW1. They wrote information texts about her feat. They also wrote poems using ideas from Flanders Fields.
