Remembrance Symbols - Nov 6, 2020
To end our whole school Remembrance week we looked at the symbol of remembrance for the war and also those symbols used during the Coronavirus such as a rainbow. We discussed the importance of art during difficult times along with how it is used to show thanks and create hope. Following on from this we each created a symbol of remembrance for those heroes who helped during the war and during the recent pandemic. Firstly we sketched and coloured designs and then painted them onto pieces of wood to be displayed in school.
