Comparing Cultural Characteristics - Mar 24, 2021
In our Geography lesson today, we compaired various cultural characteristics of Mexico with those of Newcastle. Firstly we created a list of what aspects make up a countries culture and why. Moving on from this we found out about cultural characteristics of Mexico such as: sport, religion, celebrations and food! We then compaired these to aspects to those of Newcastle finding similarities and differences between the two cultures. To help us compare these characteristics it was only right we took part in a little food tasting! Our Mexican food consisted of tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole and chilli cheese dip, alongside our local dish of stottie cake, pease pudding and ham. Needless to say they both went down a treat!
