Baptism at Church - Nov 5, 2021
This afternoon, the whole of Year 2 visited St Augustine’s Church. As we have been learning about baptism in our ‘Signs and Symbols’ unit of work, Father Paul talked to us about what a baptism is and what it represents. He remembered baptising lots of us when we were younger. Following this, Father Paul very kindly demonstrated a baptism and baptised our baby in the Font – we had some very proud parents and Godparents! We finished off with a lovely song of ‘Give Me Oil in my Lamp’.
