This morning we took part in a live Zoom session with Matt Goodfellow, a poet, and a small number of local schools. During the session Matt told us about how he became interested in poetry and read some of his new works from his book ‘Bright Bursts of Colour’. Some of the poems we heard included: ‘Badger’, ‘The Sometimes Song’, ‘and ‘Doggy’ however our favourite had to be ‘Goggles’. He also took part in a question and answer session giving us all tips on how to create a great poem.
