Design and Make - Apr 29, 2021
This week we have enjoyed a great week of designing and making. We learned all about materials and their properties. We were able to sort materials into different categories, such as hard and soft. We then sorted the materials into different groups – wood, metal and plastic.
We were then given then challenge of designing and making a rattle. We planned which materials we would use, what we would put inside, which colours we would use and what it would look like. We then followed our plan to make our own rattles. We then tested them out, shaking them to the music.
We had so much fun, take a look at our photographs.
