Robin Hood – Editing our writing - Oct 21, 2020
Today we came to the end of ‘Legends’ unit where we have focused on the story of Robin Hood. Over the past few weeks we have looked at the features of legends, synonyms, direct speech and various aspects of punctuation such as colons and semi colons. From our learning we retold this famous legend from the perspective of Sir Guy of Gisbourne, an arch nemesis of Robins. In today’s lesson we were tasked with editing our work; to ensure we were true editing detectives we used finger lights to re-read our work back as carefully as possible to help us to improve our work.
