As part of our ‘Take one Picture Project’ Year 2a have been looking closely at a painting by the artist Claude-Joseph Vernet called A Shipwreck in Stormy Seas. We have been using clay to recreate the ship in the painting. We used a range of techniques to work with our clay including rolling, pulling, pinching, smoothing and squeezing the clay.
