Art Week – L.S. Lowry - Oct 19, 2020
This week our school is taking part in art week. Each class has been given a enquiry question and artist to research, in Year 6 we are studying the works of L.S. Lowry, investigating the question ‘How do you create an environment through art?’ In our first lesson we researched the life and works of L.S. Lowry discovering why he is a famous painter, some of his works and the type of art he created. We also compared and contrasted his works to other landscape artists such as Vincent Van Gogh. Following on form this we each created a mind map about the interesting information we found out.
