Shake, Rattle and Roll - Apr 29, 2021
The children have loved the Design Technology work that they have been completing in school. Following on from art week they had the brief ‘Design and make a rattle for a baby’. The children loved learning about toys from the past and present and looking closely at the different materials they could use to make their rattle. The children had to think carefully about the purpose of the rattle, what a baby would like on the rattle and how it would be safe. The children came up with some brilliant designs and loved making their rattles. Once all of the rattles were made we played some music and the children loved shaking their rattles to test them out.
