Go, do not be afraid and serve

Rosh Hashanah - Nov 17, 2021

This afternoon in RE, we looked at the faith of Judaism. Our focus was on the celebration of Rosh Hashanah and the meaning behind it. We found out some interesting facts about it such as; it lasts for ten days, it is a festival of repentance and a shofar is blown 100 times for two days. A common treat during Rosh Hashanah is apples dipped in honey, so it was only right we had a try of this snack ourselves. Needless to say, it was a huge hit! We then created cards to celebrate this festival with images linked to what we had found out.
