Local History Week - Apr 28, 2022
It is Local History Week at school this week and our topic this year is Hadrian’s wall.
In Reception we have been exploring 3 questions linked to this topic; What is Hadrian’s wall? What is an Emperor? and Why was Hadrian’s wall built?
Throughout the week, the children have been challenged to build Hadrian’s wall, design and create clothing for an Emperor and recreate the battle between the Roman Soldiers and Caledonians. We have had a busy but exciting week in Reception.
