The Hungry Caterpillar - Apr 29, 2021
At the start of the week, some of the nursery children helped to make play dough. They added the ingredients and then stirred it the pan. The play dough that they made was great. The other children loved it.
There were some huge creepy crawlies in the tuff spot this week. They were covered in slime. We loved getting our hands all sticky!!
This week we read the story of the Hungry Caterpillar. We found out that caterpillars turn into butterflies. We are waiting for some caterpillars to join us here in nursery. We are so excited. We made our own butterfly prints. They are so good that we have put them up in the classroom.
We also used pasta to represent the different stages of the caterpillars growth. That was fun!
