Jubilee Celebrations - May 27, 2022
Today we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee as a whole school. Dressed in our red, white and blue, along with a very patriotically decorated school, we had a fun filled day. Year 2 led an assembly sharing lots of interesting facts about the Queen and her historic reign. We then took part in various art activities including some inspired by Andy Warhol. For lunch we had a picnic on the field in the sun (with a little drizzle of rain) and ended the day being presented with our commemorative books from the Government and bookmarks from the PTA. All in all it was a smashing day!
