We have started an interesting week in Maths as we are learning all about measuring weight. We started by learning what equal means and trying to find objects that weigh the same. We had to make our scales balance. Then today, we have been weighing objects in our classroom to find out how heavy they are. We made clever estimates, then weighed them using cubes. We talked about how to compare objects to make our estimates more accurate. It was difficult to understand that the biggest item is not always the heaviest!
