The Prodigal Son - Sep 23, 2021
As part of our ‘Loving’ unit in RE, today’s lesson focused on unconditional love and the parable of ‘The Prodigal Son’. After listening to the parable, we discussed as a class how the son and father would have been feeling at various parts of the story. We then looked at the meaning of the word ‘prodigal’ and how it applied to both the son, father and God, along with the meaning behind the parable itself. To end our lesson we worked in groups to create five ‘freeze frames’ showing key parts of the parable. Can you guess which part is being shown in our freeze frames?
