Shrove Tuesday - Mar 2, 2022
In Reception we have been learning about Shrove Tuesday (a day in which Christians prepare for the beginning of Lent). During these preparations it is tradition for families to eat pancakes. To keep up with tradition, we tried pancakes with a range of different toppings, this included; lemon juice, sugar, golden syrup and either Nutella or Strawberry sauce. The children loved trying the different toppings and some children even found a new favourite.
