Autumn walk - Oct 20, 2021
This half term, we have been learning all about Autumn. The children have enjoyed exploring how the change in season can cause the outside world to look a little bit different.
This week the children took part in an Autumn walk. As a class we walked around the school grounds and in pairs the children were tasked with collecting as many different kinds of leaves as possible.
When we came back to the classroom, the children spent time looking closely at the leaves they had found and worked as a team to try and guess what kind of tree they had come from. We found leaves from Oak trees, Horse chestnut trees and Silver birch trees.
