Expressing the Emotions of a Character - Jun 21, 2021
In today’s lesson, we focused on looking at the emotions of Henry from our core text ‘Henry’s Freedom Box’. Looking at the opening of the story we discussed, as a class, how he would have felt living through these emotional events. In groups, we worked together to act out the aspects of his life we have found out about so far. Our focus was to create a dialogue using vocabulary and the use of body language, through micro-expressions, to express how he and others would have felt in these situations.
