Meeting an explorer - Jun 14, 2022
Today, real-life explorer, James Ketchell, came to visit us. He is the first person to complete the triathlon of rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, summiting Mount Everest and cycling around the world. He has also fly around the world in a gyrocopter. To begin, James led an assembly telling us all about his expeditions then we had a workshop, where we were able to try on some of the clothes he recently used on his trip to Greenland, along with some of the food he eats. In Literacy, we will be writing an episode of an explorer’s adventure.
