World Book day! - Mar 4, 2022
We loved celebrating World Book Day in Reception. To start the day, we took part in a parade, where we showed off our fabulous costumes to our friends. Then, we each took turns explaining which character we were dressed as and which book they were from. Mrs Armstrong had planned a lovely book swap activity which meant that we could bring in a book from home that we no longer wanted and swap in with someone else, meaning we got to take a ‘new’ book home. During the afternoon, we took part in a range of world book day activities including, designing a book mark and creating a character mask. Finally, to finish off the day, we had snack and story time. It was a very busy, but exciting day!
