Design Technology – Pneumatic Toys - May 6, 2021
This week Year 3/4 have been designing a pneumatic toy as part of design and technology week linked to Take One Picture. They learned about how pneumatic systems work and carried out an investigation. They looked at how the air is forced from inside one syringe along the tube and into the other syringe, making the other plunger move up. This was an example of pneumatics! They then designed a toy for The Baby Moses. Their toys had to follow a design brief and be safe to use. They loved designing their toys and came up with lots of fantastic ideas. When they came to making their toy, they worked independently. They were all a great success and the children had lots of fun making them.
