We began our Remembrance topic today and started to think about why it is important to remember. We learned about life in the trenches for soldiers in WWI. We couldn’t believe the horrendous conditions that soldiers had to live in. We chose roles to act out as a soldier and created powerful still images. We talked about how soldiers must have felt as they tried to sleep, eat, catch rats, be on the lookout and even go to the toilet in the horrible trenches.
