Leon and the Place Between - Apr 12, 2021
Today we were treated to popcorn and a circus show! It was a great first lesson back after Easter to begin our new Literacy unit focusing on the text Leon and the Place Between. To emerse ourself in our new text our classroom was turned into a circus with bunting and signs and we were given a ticket to watch a circus show along with some tasty popcorn to eat. Following this we were given an image from our new text and asked to explore it using our senses. Working in pairs we created a list of what we would be able to see, hear, taste, smell and feel if we were in the image. We are looking forward to finding a little more about our text and what will happen in the story.
