Go, do not be afraid and serve

Busy Bees - Nov 8, 2021

Last week, we started a new activity in Reception called Busy Bees. Busy Bees takes place every Friday morning and allows the children to develop a range of ‘skills’ linked to the outside world. This week, Reception 2 took part in a baking activity, where they were first asked to design and then create their own biscuit, and then a gardening activity where they spent time in the Polytunnel planting flowers. Reception 1 spent time learning how to Weave and then went on a visit to our school Library, where they were able to look through different books, listen to a story read by their teacher and then make a monster puppet. Both the children and staff had lots fun and are excited for the next Busy Bees session.
