Matt Goodfellow Visit - Feb 18, 2022
To celebrate the end of Off By Heart, poet, Matt Goodfellow, paid us a visit. We had a Key Stage 2 assembly, listening to stories about his life and inspiration as well of performances of some of his poems. Later on, we had a workshop in class: we wrote poems about never working on our birthdays. However, as he encourages rebel writing, we were encouraged to not focus on spelling or punctuate and use our dialect and phonics to spell our work.
