Anti-Bullying Week - Nov 22, 2020

This week the whole school has been taking part in activities relating to anti-bullying. This year’s theme isscalled “United Against Bullying.” The Anti-Bullying Alliance stated that

“This year, more than ever, we’ve witnessed the positive power that society can have when we come together to tackle a common challenge. Anti-Bullying Week is no different. Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. But by channelling our collective power, through shared efforts and shared ambitions, we can reduce bullying together. We’re all a piece in the puzzle, and together, we’re united against bullying.”

On Monday the children came to school wearing odd socks. This was to show that we are all different and unique, but together we are united against bullying.

During the week the children took part in various activities within their classroom relating to anti-bullying. The children have a good understanding of what it means to be a good friend and say no to bullying.
