2D shapes - Dec 10, 2021
This week in Maths, we have been exploring 2D shapes.
The children have learned all about Squares, Circles, Triangles and Rectangles.
We talked about the properties of each shape and what is similar/different about them. The children amazed me with their knowledge!
Throughout the week, the children have taken part in lots of different ‘shape’ activities including; Creating a pizza using different shapes, printing with shapes to design their own wrapping paper and sending shapes with specific properties to the postman.
