STEM Week - Feb 18, 2022
This STEM week’s theme has been growth. In this time, we have learnt about and constructed a water filtration system. We have thought about ways to help a girl, and her village, in Mozambique and ways to make water collection easier. After that, we constructed a water filter with mud ,fine and coarse sand, gravel and cheese cloth. Then we created a poster to advertise a water collection and filtration system to help the 784 million people in the world that don’t have access to clean water to drink with, cook with and clean with. The whole class has enjoyed this time and we are looking forward to the future STEM weeks.
