Macmillan Coffee Morning – Friday 24th September 2021

Thank you to everyone for all your generous donations of cakes and sweet treats for our Macmillan coffee morning.  The children had a great morning sampling all the delicious cakes.  Macmillan give the support people need to live their lives as fully as they can. From the moment of diagnosis and whenever they’re most needed, Macmillan are there to help people find their best way through.   We have raised £364.70 and are once again overwhelmed by the generosity of all the children and parents at St Augustine’s.

CAFOD Walk for Water 2021

Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before we celebrate Easter. Lent lasts 40 days which is the time Jesus spent in the desert.

This Lent, our theme is ‘Walk for Water’, details of this will be published on each class Seesaw page and a letter will be sent home on the first day back after half-term.

We hope that all children are able to join in our Lenten preparation.

Children in Need 2020

For this year’s ‘Children in Need’ appeal we are inviting the children to wear their own clothes or Pudsey related items on Friday 12th November. We will all take part in a special online PE lesson led by Joe Wicks.

If you wish to make a donation to the charity we are asking people to do this online this year. You can do this by visiting – https://donate.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/
