Number Bonds of 5 - Mar 18, 2022
Over the last week the children have been learning their number bonds of 5. We have completed many tasks partitioning 5 in different ways and finding all ways of making 5. Yesterday, we completed a yummy task making number bonds of 5 using marshmallows and giant strawberries. The children had to add five items to their skewers using different combinations. All of the children were amazing, adding the sweets and telling their friend the number sentence they had created. Of course the best part was eating the sweets at the end!
