Dear Families,

Following on from the Government announcement, school will now be closed to all children from tomorrow. We will open to children of critical workers and vulnerable children when we feel it is safe to do so, hopefully by Wednesday 6 January. There will be no provision in school for these groups tomorrow as this will allow us time to review staffing, groupings, risk assessments and the provision that school can safely offer. We will contact the parents who completed today’s survey by email tomorrow.

Remote learning will begin via Seesaw for Year 1 to Year 6 and via Tapestry for children in Nursery and Reception, staff will make contact with children on these platforms tomorrow. This is not what we hoped for and not the situation we all wanted to be in but we must follow Government guidance in order to keep everybody safe. We will be in contact again tomorrow when we have had time to review the Government guidance.
