Our final experiment this half term involved irreversible changes. We made new materials by causing chemical reactions when we mixed materials. We made carbon dioxide by mixing bicarbonate of soda and vinegar, which we then used to inflate a balloon. After this, we mixed vinegar and war milk to make casein – a type of plastic.
