Why did we send people into space? - Sep 13, 2022
In Year 1/2 today we started our new History topic ‘Why did we send people into Space?’
We discovered that people first landed on the moon in July 1969. Before this was made possible, air flight had to be invented. We looked at images of how flying began and worked with a partner to order images from the earliest to most recent ways to fly. Afterwards we completed a ‘Prove it’ activity where we looked at picture sources and used these to match against some statements to prove that they were true.
