We’re going on a... BUG hunt! - Oct 8, 2020
Today we have explored the school grounds looking at microhabitats and the minibeasts that live in them. We looked at different habitats such as grass, under a log, under rocks and on leaves. We were very excited to use our scientific equipment such as magnifiers, survey sheets to help identify our minibeasts, trowels and spades. At each habitat, we discussed what the conditions were like such as dry and light or wet and dark. Once we were finished looking at the minibeasts, we returned them to their habitats.
