As part of Art week, we have been learning to weave! In ‘The Finding of Moses’ that are topic is based on, Moses was found in a basket in the river. We looked at how baskets are made and then looked at how we could weave with different materials. The trickiest part was wrapping the wool through the teeth on the card and securing it in place with knots. Then we used strips of card to weave watery patterns. The end result is so impressive and our finished pieces are being displayed on our classroom wall!
