War Volunteer Recruitment Radio Advertisement - Nov 11, 2021
This week in school we have been looking at the role volunteers took during WWII and comparing them with those during the Corona virus pandemic. In creating those links, we have been able to relate, sympathise and understand a little more, as to how those people served and what they sacrificed for our country. Today we created a radio advertisement, encouraging the nation to join the Home Front. After listening to the story of Fred, a volunteer air raid warden, along with the role of the Land Army and the Women’s Voluntary Service, we each wrote a persuasive script. Once we had completed our scripts we turned them into a radio script using green screen technology.
