Last week, Reception were very lucky as Mrs West agreed to visit with Baby Ocean as part of our Understanding The World topic. Mrs West asked if the children would like to see her bath Ocean. The children were fascinated and were very keen to get involved.
Today, it was the children’s turn to have a go at bathing a baby. They were great at remembering all the important things such as checking the temperature of the water, taking off all of the babies clothes, and making sure there was a towel ready to dry the baby once they had finished. It was lovely to see the children show kindness and consideration when handling the baby.
