Survival Day - Mar 9, 2022
Today we took part in a ‘survival day’ with Heather and Kev, who are mountaineers. The aim of the day was to reach the summit of Mount Everest by completing various tasks. The activities helped to develop our team work and resilience skills. We started the day by pitching a tent and creating a team name. Over the course of the day we completed activities at our base camp such as pebble building and golf putting. We also took part in two obstacle courses including bridge building, snowball challenge and ice field skiing. During the day we were also awarded flags for showing the team skills needed to be part of a successful team. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and realised just what we can achieve when we work together.
