Rounding numbers - Sep 30, 2022
Today we looked at rounding numbers to the nearest 10,000,100,000 and 1,000,000. Rolling a dice, we created a 7-digit number and recorded it onto a place value grid. Once our number had been made we then had to round it to the nearest 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000. Once confident in this we then played a challenge game with our teacher, we were given a choice of how to round our number, a dice was rolled if it landed on an even number the highest number won, if it was an odd number then the lowest number won. It became a little competitive!
