Remembrance Week - Nov 11, 2021
On our afternoons this week we have been focusing on ‘Remembrance’. We have learned about what life was like for the soldiers during WWI and performed some freeze frames of the soldiers in the trenches. We have also looked at what life was like for the children back at home and compared activities in 1914 compared to 2021.
Today, we made some beautiful poppies using watercolour paints. To finish off our remembrance week, we took part in a whole school liturgy where we reflected on the importance of remembering.
