Musical Theatre - Oct 22, 2021
Today was our final Dance lesson in PE and we were able to showcase or learning based on the show Westside Story. Using choreography from the film, some we had been taught and also our own, we created a 3-minute routine depicting the famous fight scene from. In groups, we were tasked to create movement to fill two counts of six using the five aspects of dance: turns, gesture, stillness, travel and jump. To end our lesson, we preformed our full routine as a class and were pretty impressed with how it turned out!
