Today, Year 3/4 were making relationships between multiplication and division using manipulatives. They used Numicon or Cuisenaire rods to answer these questions.
What are 4 lots of 5? How many 3s in 15? Can 11 be shared into equal groups of 3? Prove it! How many 5s in 25? What are 6 lots of 3? How many 5s in 35? Can 26 be shared into equal groups of 5? Prove it! 4 x 3 = 15 ÷ 5 = Can 25 be shared spilt into equal groups of 3? Tell your partner
