Measure hunt! - Nov 25, 2021
This week in Year 3 we have been looking at appropriate units of measurement when measuring items of different sizes. We took to the school yard armed with metre wheels, measuring tape and metre rulers to identify the most appropriate unit of measurement for different items. We measured grass using millimetres, chalk drawings with centimetres and our beanbag toss in meters.
