As we come to the end of our whole school reading challenge ‘Off By Heart’, today we were visited by published poet Matt Goodfellow. He led an assembly for KS2 sharing some of his poems, a bit about his life and a few funny tales which made us laugh. Following this, each class took part in a workshop where we started to draft up our own poems using our own experiences and interests as a stimulus. We thoroughly enjoyed having him visit us and sharing his passion and knowledge with us.
