Local History Week - Apr 29, 2022
This week Year 3/4 have been learning about how the Romans used defences when building Hadrian’s Wall. They built the first version of Hadrian’s Wall in 3 sections and included ditches, vallums, forts, milecastles and turrets. The Roman soldiers were excellent builders. They used local materials in their building works. Here is our version of Hadrian’s Wall.
