Hymn Signing not Singing!
This half term we are replacing or usual hymn singing collective worship with hymn signing! Each week we will learn different Bristish Sign Language vocabulary to help us sign along with some new hymns. We have to do this at the moment as we are unable to meet together in the school hall to woship God through singing.
The first hymn we will be signing is ‘This Little Light of Mine’
The signs are below if you would like to join in.

Year 2 Whole School Liturgy
This week Year 2 have led us in our online whole school liturgy. The liturgy was all about Saints and they children in Year 2 asked us how we should behave in order to become more ‘Saint Like’.
Sharing and Caring
This week Year 6 have led our whole school in a special online collective worship. Their liturgy was all about sharing and caring. We are really enjoying our virtual collective worships. It makes us really happy to see all of the bubbles in our school!
Listen – Whole School Collective Worship
Year 4 led today’s whole school liturgy which was all about listening. Mrs Lynch spoke to all of our classes through Teams to welcome us all. It’s lovely to be able to see one another!
We then heard the Gospel and thought of all of the ways we could use our senses to listen for God’s message
Virtual Collective Worship
This afternoon we had our first virtual collective worship. We would usually meet in the hall as a whole school on a Monday, but we have had to make a few changes to allow us to pray together in a safe way.
Firstly Mrs Lynch spoke to all of our classes though an online meeting. It was lovely to see all of the other classes in school.
Then Year 4 had prepared a liturgy called ‘A Change of Heart’. The Gospel story was about a father asking his two sons to do a job. One son says he will do the job, but then doesn’t. The second son says he won’t do the job, but then has a change of heart and completes the task. We though about the times we should try to have a change of heart.
